How It Works
Mainly divided into 4 steps
Each team comprises 5-7 students from at least 2 different pillars:
Engineering System Design (ESD),
Engineering Product Design (EPD),
Architecture and Sustainable Design (ASD), &
Information System and Technology Design (ISTD)
Entrepreneurship capstone projects must fulfil both business and technical requirements. The project will be assessed by both VIE and technical faculty members through a validation process comprising 1.5 days entrepreneurship Bootcamp, 1 week project validation and project pitching.
The project commences during the Capstone terms, between January to August, with a matching grant from the University. During this period, mentoring sessions and practical workshops will be conducted to guide the students through the project and equip them with entrepreneurial skillsets.
Spin off the project
into an actual startup.
A demo day will be organised for the teams to pitch their ideas to investors to kick start their entrepreneurship journey

Team ABC’s invention ‘Remoree’ is a personalised ergonomic chair which investigates the user’s ergonomic requirements and guides the user on how to customise it to achieve their optimal sitting experience.
